ENVIRONMENTALLY AWARE
Our director started both the Tas Pasar program, which gave out reusable shopping bags across Bali, and the Keep Bali Clean foundation, which ran a major media campaign to raise awareness about littering. At Easytees, caring for the environment and reducing the negative impact of garment production is something we take seriously.
Currently 60% of everything we produce is made with certified organic cotton from India and we're working hard to increase this number. Organic cotton is grown without pesticides, herbicides or GMOs which means less toxic runoff into rivers and no damage to the soil. We also offer fabrics such as Tencel, bamboo and recycled PET yarn, which is made from plastic bottles.

For dyeing we adhere to AZO-free certified dyes produced in state-of-the-art facilities. We also use Cold Pad Batch (CPB) dyeing technology, which uses up to 50% less water and dye than traditional methods. Unlike standard vat dyeing CPB doesn’t rely on saltwater and instead bonds the color directly to the fabric, making it a much cleaner process.

When it comes to printing, we use water-based inks that are free from PVC and heavy metals.

For packaging, customers can choose to have their shirts packed plastic-free or in groups of five per plastic bag, striking a balance between clean production and reduced plastic use.

All our fabric and paper offcuts are collected and recycled into new industrial materials.
Beyond the garments, we compost food scraps on-site and work with Bali’s top waste management company.
